Bagaimana Mengenalpasti Ketulenan Wang Kertas RM20 ?

RM20 (Siri keempat)

Dua spesies penyu terkenal dan hanya dijumpai di perairan Malaysia iaitu Penyu Karah (Eretmochelys imbricata) dan Penyu Belimbing (Dermochelys coriacea), yang juga merupakan lambang hidupan laut yang pelbagai dan berwarna-warni di perairan tropika kita, dipaparkan pada wang kertas RM20 baharu.

Penyu Karah mudah dikenali melalui muncungnya yang melengkung dan kulitnya yang bersisik manakala Penyu Belimbing pula mempunyai kulit yang keras dan tujuh jaluran pada cangkerangnya.

Kewujudan penyu-penyu ini memberi peringatan bahawa kehidupan mereka bergantung pada imbangan aktiviti manusia dan pemuliharaan hidupan laut yang perlu dikendalikan dengan bijaksana.
